Three Legislative Coffees to be Held in 2024

South Dakota Capitol In Pierre

The Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting three legislative Coffees in 2024. All sessions, which are free and open to the public, will be held from 10am to 12pm in the Kessler’s Champions Club, Barnett Center, Northern State University campus. The dates are January 27, February 10 and February 24. Refreshments will be served. The sessions will also be live-streamed at www.dakotabroadcasting.com.

Legislators from Districts 1, 3 and 23, representing Brown County, are invited to attend and give updates on what is happening during the 2024 Legislative Session in Pierre. Cracker Barrel sessions are open to the public and offer an excellent opportunity for legislators and their constituents to publicly discuss issues of importance and stay up to date on top business, civic, and social priorities. Ensuring that laws and legislation remain conducive to Aberdeen’s healthy and vibrant business climate is a top priority for the Aberdeen Area Chamber. Providing this type of structure for business leaders to communicate effectively with government is just one of the opportunities we provide our members and the Aberdeen community.

The Legislative Coffees are made possible with the help of the following sponsors: AARP South Dakota, Aberdeen Development Corporation, Borns Group, Healthcare Plus Federal Credit Union, Helms & Associates, Mark Mehlhoff Insurance, Northern State University, Northwestern Energy and Robert Stiehl – State Farm Insurance.
