Discover the Power of Legacy
Leadercast 2025 was a premier leadership event that brought together influential voices from around the globe. The theme, ‘Legacy of Impact,’ focused on how leaders could create meaningful change that endures. We were excited to bring Leadercast 2025: Legacy of Impact Digital Leadership Conference to Aberdeen on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
In addition to the incredible speakers who presented via video, the Chamber was proud to feature Aberdeen’s very own Abiah George, who spoke live at the event. George had recently presented at the TEDx Sioux Falls event and shared that same presentation with us. Her talk centered around her lived experience navigating the U.S. immigration system—a system she called “the defining story” of her life. Originally from India, George came to the United States with her mother and sister nine years ago. After years on a dependent visa, she eventually obtained a student visa while pursuing her education at Northern. She planned to continue her journey in law school, with the goal of practicing immigration law and advocating for reform.
The event featured a full day of keynote presentations, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities designed to inspire and equip attendees to make a difference in their communities and beyond.
