BROWN COUNTY COMMISSION, ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL AND ABERDEEN SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE FORUMS
The Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce and the Aberdeen Area League of Women Voters hosted three Candidate Forums in April. All forums were recorded and links can be viewed by clicking HERE.
- Brown County Commission Candidate Forum. Candidates invited to attend include: Mike Weise, Mike Gage, Chad Fischbach, Mike Russell, Drew Dennert, and Doug Fjeldheim. There are a total of 4 open positions, three that are 4-year terms and one 2-year term.
- Aberdeen School Board Candidate Forum. Candidates invited to attend include: Duane Alm, Mike Bockorny, and Gayle Bortnem. There are 2 open positions.
- Aberdeen City Council Candidate Forum. Candidates invited to attend include: Jon Boon McNutt, Charlotte Liebelt, Erin Fouberg, Andy Schaunaman, David Novstrup, Chad Nilson, and Kyle Walz. There are three council openings from the Northeast, Northwest and Southeast Districts. Each term is five years.
The election for Brown County Commission, Aberdeen City Council and the Aberdeen School District will be on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 with absentee voting beginning on April 22, 2022.
LEGISLATIVE CANDIDATE FORUM
The Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce and the Aberdeen Area League of Women Voters hosted a Legislative Candidate Forum on Saturday, May 14th in the Kessler’s Champions Club in the Barnett Center at NSU. The forum was recorded and they can be viewed by clicking HERE.

District 23 Candidates
