Residential Cleanup
The FREE Spring Residential cleanup is held the last weekend of April each year. The event is facilitated by the Enhance Aberdeen Committee of the Chamber, the Brown County Landfill, the City of Aberdeen and Dependable Sanitation. Residents can drop trash off at the landfill or in Aberdeen at Jensen's Rock & Sand.
The landfill waives fees for trees, rubble, waste oil, furniture, paint, antifreeze, scrap metal, propane tanks, appliances, grass, leaves and other miscellaneous waste. Residents are only allowed to drop off four tires during the free cleanup. Regular fees still apply for businesses and commercial waste and mobile homes.
