Aberdeen Day At The Legislature

What an awesome day we had celebrating Aberdeen at our State Capitol on Thursday, February 20th! The day included:

• All City Elementary Chorus on Capitol Steps
• Meeting with new Lt. Governor Venhuizen
• Legislative Briefing
• Recognition in both the House and Senate
• Morning refreshments in both the House and Senate Lobbies

The Rotunda featured Aberdeen’s best with tables representing Aberdeen community organizations, City of Aberdeen, Northern State University, Aberdeen Family YMCA, Demkota Ranch Beef, Dacotah Prairie Museum, Midstates Printing, and Sanford Health.  We also treated guests to coffee and cookies from The Market on the Plaza, pheasant sandwiches from the Aberdeen Convention and Visitors Bureau, tiger meat from Kesslers, cookies from the Red Rooster, croissants from LaRue’s, and bars from Krave.
