Chamber Announces Top 4 Under 40 Finalists

The Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce has chosen the 2023 finalists for the Top 4 Under 40. In its second year, this program recognizes the efforts of young leaders in our community and region.

Nominees are between the ages of 21- 39; are Aberdeen and/or Brown County residents; exemplify the qualities of a true leader; are enroute or have already truly impacted our community and area for the better through their careers & professions, community & civic involvement, personal or philanthropic efforts, etc.; and make our community and region a better place because they’re in it.

The Chamber received a total of 26 completed applications. The Executive Board of the Chamber narrowed candidates down to the top 12 finalists who include: Aaron Smith, Aberdeen Wings; Alexandra Grieben, Dacotah Bank; Ashley Hansen, Sanford Health; Dr. Amy Munsterman-Wills, Legacy Chiropractic; Dr. Blake Heinz, Avera; Fallon Helm, Revive Day Spa; Kerry Konda, Aberdeen School District; Lance Vilhauer, American Bank & Trust; Lucas Bruns, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network; Matt Campbell, My Place Hotels of America; Olaf Hanson, Dacotah Bank; and Tim Hanigan, Banner Engineering.

From these final 12, the top 4 will be selected and revealed at the 2023 ABBY Awards held on September 21, 2023, at the Dakota Event Center. They will also be publicly recognized in the November/December PROGRESS Magazine, social media, website, etc. Each recipient will receive a $250 cash prize.
