Bison Juicy Lucy Slider

Equipment

  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Flat Top Grill Or Cast-Iron Skillet or Regular Grill

Ingredients

  • 2 Lbs Ground Bison
  • 1 Lg Onion
  • 4-5 Slices Thick-Cut Bacon
  • 8 Oz Cheese, Black Pepper Cheddar cubed - can substitute type and style of cheese
  • 1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 TSP Kosher Salt
  • 1 TSP Black Pepper
  • 8 Slider Buns, Sourdough or whatever you like

Instructions

  • Slice Onion and Grill with butter, then remove from grill
  • Grill Bacon, the remove from grill
  • Add your ground bison to a large mixing bowl
  • Add the Worcestershire sauce and seasonings
  • Separate into 16 thin patties (2 oz each)
  • Place cheese in center of patty
  • Cover with another patty and tightly pinch the edges together to seal around cheese
  • Repeat with remaining patties
  • Cook your burgers on the grill for 5 minutes per side

Notes

For Toppings, add grilled onions, bacon, pickles - whatever you like!
