Family Festival & Raffle
The 2025 Leadership Aberdeen’s class project, “Get Pumped, Aberdeen!” hosted a Family Festival and Bike-a-Thon on June 1st. The event helped raise awareness and funds for the Bike Hub, a future bike park that they hope to break ground on in 2026. The class is very excited to announce that they raised around $10,000 during the event!
Leadership Aberdeen would like to thank their many sponsors that helped make their event possible. Kessler’s, Wendy’s, Thatzza Pizza and WalMart all contributed with food. They also had over 40 raffle prizes and appreciate every business who donated. Special thanks to the awesome local mascots who raced…. with the Most Pumped Aberdeen Mascot Award going to Frosty from Wendy’s. The event was a huge success thanks to all of you!
In an effort to continue fundraising, the class is selling Get Pumped Raffle tickets – 1 for $20 of 3 for $50. The prizes include an adult e-bike, 2 Brown County Fair 4-Day GA Package tickets, 2 Aberdeen Chrysler Platinum Detail Packages, an 18-hole round of golf for 4 people and 2 carts at Lee Park, a 1-night stay at the Ramkota in a poolside room, a yoga package from Fit and Fire Studios, a Mooncool 3-wheel adult trike, a 50” Roku Smart TV, a Trek youth bike and $500 cash. All proceeds from the event go toward building a new community pump/skills track at the Brown County Fairgrounds along 24th Ave NE.
