Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce Encourages Participation in June 2 Primary Election

The Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce is encouraging residents to make their voices heard by participating in the upcoming Primary Election on Tuesday, June 2.

Local and state elections play an important role in shaping the future of businesses, workforce development, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and overall quality of life in Aberdeen and across South Dakota. The Chamber believes informed and engaged voters help create stronger communities and a healthier business climate.

“Elections have a direct impact on the future of our region,” said Gail Ochs, CEO of the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce. “We encourage residents to take time to learn about the candidates and issues on the ballot and make a plan to vote on June 2.”

The Chamber remains committed to supporting civic engagement and providing opportunities for residents to stay informed on issues impacting the business community and the region as a whole.

Voters are encouraged to verify polling locations, review sample ballots, and learn more about voting requirements ahead of Election Day.
