One of our main goals at the Chamber in 2008 is to better communicate with our members, the community and the region. Because of this, we are working with an exceptional team of volunteers to develop a new and improved PROGRESS Newsletter!

• The PROGRESS will now be a full color, 8 1/2" x 11", 20-page magazine. WIth a glossy cover and color throughout, this piece will be a keeper!

• The first newsletter will hit the stands in July 2008 - with the July/August 2008 edition. We will switch our printing schedule to every other month, allowing for 6 total publications per year.

• The PROGRESS will continue to be inserted into the Aberdeen American News and mailed to our members. It will also be distributed locally and regionally to hotels convenience stores, waiting rooms, educational institutions, etc.

• The PROGRESS will continue to include articles of interest to our membership, but will also be featuring new contributors, more issue-based articles, enhanced community and regional information, and new sections

• How can you get in? Well, the Chamber will be working with our members to offer Prime Promotional Space - including the Front Cover with Inside Page and the Center Spread. This is a great opportunity to highlight your business with photos and a story on your business. • The Aberdeen American News will continue its partnership with the Chamber by selling advertising within the Progress newsletter. Lynde Ross, Aberdeen American News Advertising Representative, will be contacting Chamber members in May to see who wants to be included in this new magazine.
